In 2001 I graduated from Keene State and have always wanted to be a teacher. Entering the 2020-2021 school year, this will be my 17th year teaching. This is my 15th year at Reeds Ferry!
At RFS I coordinate a snowshoe club after school during the winter months. In the Spring, I collaborate with Mrs. Rousseau to host a run club. Third and fourth graders can join ski club at Pats Peak Friday nights in which aim a volunteer. The STEAM club was a newly offered afterschool club for second and third graders to offer hands-on problem-solving. I hope students will continue to support these clubs and events!
Traveling is a passion of mine. My most recent travels have brought me to Iceland/Greenland, Ireland, and Kauai, Hawaii. I have hiked all of the N.H. 4000’ peaks and in Vermont. I have ten left to conquer in Maine for my New England 67 peak patch.
Teaching is meant to meet an individual where they are and guiding them and their families along their educational journey. I feel that I learn as much from my students daily, as they do from me.
