My name is Allison MacGuire and I teach third grade at Reeds Ferry School. I have been teaching third grade for four years and before that I taught second grade for seven years. I grew up in Merrimack and am so happy to be working in the community where I grew up. I enjoy watching and playing football, cooking, hiking, and playing with my four-year-old son Reid.  

As an educator, I work hard to foster a growth mindset and encourage my students to take risks and challenge themselves. I use an inquiry-based approach to learning and try my best to make learning relevant for my students. I enjoy building strong relationships with and among my students. Room 36 is a community and I love being a part of that special community!
